Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) gives us your email address, display name, and—if you use Google or Apple sign-in—basic profile details and a profile photo. You may add a display name (alias) and avatar.
• Content you create. Chat messages, emotes, reactions, and photos you upload are stored so they can be shown in the live chat. This is user-generated content visible to other users.
• Purchase information. When you tip a creator or unlock pay-per-view content, we record what you purchased and its price. On iOS, payments are processed by Apple through in-app purchase; on the web, by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
• Usage and device information. We collect technical data such as which streams and videos you view, playback and viewer activity, app version, device type, and similar diagnostic information.
• Safety information. If you report a message or block a user, we record that action (including the reported content and the reporter and reported user) so we can review and act on it.

• To operate the Service—stream video, deliver real-time chat, and sync playback.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process tips and pay-per-view purchases and grant the content you unlock.
• To keep the community safe—review reports, enforce our Community Guidelines, filter objectionable content, and remove content or restrict accounts that violate our terms.
• To send notifications you have enabled (such as follows, mentions, and replies).
• To diagnose problems, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• With other users. Your display name, avatar, and the content you post (chat messages, photos, reactions) are visible to other users of the Service.
• With service providers that process data on our behalf, including Clerk (authentication), Convex (backend and database), Mux and Livepeer (video streaming and storage), Apple (iOS in-app purchases), Stripe (web payments), and our hosting provider (Vercel). These providers may only use the data to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons—to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the public.
• In a business transfer—if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

SneakStream lets you report any message and block any user. Reported content is reviewed and, where it violates our Community Guidelines, removed; offending accounts may be restricted or banned. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Content you post may be retained in our systems (for example, in moderation records) even after it is removed from public view.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain safety and moderation records. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

• You can edit your display name and avatar in the app.
• You can manage notification preferences in Settings.
• You can block and unblock other users, and manage your blocked list in Settings.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, including deletion of your account, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate the Service from California, United States, and may process and store information there and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
